The Story Began Around 1980
The story of Pulau Pinang mee rebus began around 1980, when a man named Arwah Pak Aq started his business at a small stall in the Pulau Pinang area. With only a folding table, a large pot, and high spirits, he introduced his homemade mee rebus recipe which later became the talk of many.

Pak Aq’s mee rebus became famous for its thick gravy with the right balance of sweet, spicy, and savory flavors, enriched with the aroma of dried shrimp and sweet potato cooked with patience. Every customer who came wasn’t just eating, but felt the touch of care in every dish served.
